Farm Location (it’s an entire city block across from IKEA, with entrance gates at four corners, two of which are for visitors):
580 Columbia Street, 11231 (entrance and delivery gate)
(see direction below)
103 Otsego Street, 11231 (entrance and compost gate that is directly across from IKEA and bus stop)
Given the farm schedules, the best way to contact us is through this form:
Subway:
A/C/F train to Jay Street/Borough Hall. Exit the station and walk west to Boerum Place and Joralemon Street. Take the B61 bus going towards Red Hook. Exit the bus at the IKEA store, and the farm is across the street. The B61 can also be picked up at the 4th Avenue and 9th Street stop for the F/G trains.
Or consider taking the F/G to Smith and 9th Street and walking from there, but it’s a long walk so you’ll want to see what that looks like on-line first.
By car via the Brooklyn Bridge:
Crossing from Manhattan position yourself in the right lane
take the Cadman Plaza/BQE exit
Position Yourself in the left lane
Exit left onto Cadman Plaza (Cadman will become Court in a few blocks)
Following Cadman/Court for 2 plus miles (cross Atlantic Avenue)
Continue on Court under the BQE, where you cross Hamilton Avenue
Proceed to Bay Street (your first stop sign and third street)
Right on Bay
Follow Bay to Columbia (Odd T Intersection with Coffey Street coming at you as a one way)
Left on Columbia
Red Hook Community Farm is on your right hand side
